Coastal Community Capital & business loans
Coastal Community Capital is a division of Cape and Islands Community Development, Inc. (CDI), which was created in 1995. As part of an extensive network of similar funds nationwide which promote economic development through small business growth, CDI's core activities include entrepreneurial support through the EntreCenter, and management of the region's small business loan fund, through Coastal Community Capital.
Coastal Community Capital's mission is to provide loan capital to Cape and Islanders who create businesses and jobs. The not-for-profit community development financial institution has successfully closed millions in social responsible loans since its founding. Coastal Community Capital loans money employing a variety of creative means to provide credit enhancements to businesses. These strategies include participation loans with traditional lenders, federal loan guarantees and direct lending.
Put simply, Coastal Community Capital finds the way to fill the gap between what a traditional lender is willing to provide and what a business needs for growth.
