Ms. Marshall has been the Executive Director of Cape and Islands Community Development since April 1997.  Cape and Islands Community Development is a not-for-profit economic development finance agency providing alternative financing sources and technical assistance to small business owners and start-ups on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.

Prior to being named Executive Director, Ms. Marshall was an Officer at the Quincy Savings Bank, Quincy, MA in the Commercial Real Estate – Loan Workout Department from 1990 to 1995 where she was responsible for converting non-performing assets/obligations to performing or paid obligations.

Since 1992, Ms. Marshall has been actively involved in the management of Resource Management of Boston, a management consulting business owned by her husband.  This involvement has provided her with valuable insight into the varied challenges facing the small business owner. 

Ms. Marshall holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Maryland.  She is a member of National Community Capital Association, Massachusetts Micro-Enterprise Coalition, Association of Enterprise Opportunities, Rotary Club of Hyannis, Cape Cod Child Care Task Force, Cape Cod Affordable Housing Task Force and the League of Women Voters.
