Regional Tourism Conference to be Held at Johnson & Wales Inn, Seekonk

Will Focus on the Future of
Mass.
Tourism
The
one-day conference will feature locally and nationally-known travel and
tourism leaders who will discuss the changing face of
Massachusetts
tourism in the months since September 11 and the economic slowdown.
Speakers,
including Dr. M. Dale Henry and Peter C. Yesawich, PhD., will address
approximately 300 of the state�s hospitality leaders, representing
accommodations, attractions, and cultural institutions, many of which have
been strongly impacted by the recent downturn in tourism.
Dr. M. Dale Henry, Founder and President of Your Best Unlimited, is
known for his motivational speaking skills and ability to encourage
listeners to �think outside the box.� Peter
Yesawich, PhD., President and CEO of Yesawich, Pepperdine, & Brown,
marketing and public relations firm specializing in travel, will present:
"America in Transition: A
Preview of Emerging Lifestyles and Travel Trends in the Aftermath of
September 11th." Conference
attendees will also have the opportunity to take part in interactive
workshops scheduled throughout the day to assist them with their
marketing, research and public relations plans in light of changing travel
patterns.
